Our Story
OneSakura didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a feeling.
One day, I slipped on this long, flowing Kimono-like robe. It was simple—but the way it moved, the way it felt on my skin—it was different. Effortless. Feminine. I didn’t just like it… I was obsessed.
So I did what any woman does when she finds something she truly loves—I tracked down the original makers, reached out, and asked if I could share their pieces with others. They said yes. And that’s how OneSakura began.

Not long after, my son went off to college and the house got quiet,, I decided now was a great time to create something fun. OneSakura became more than a passion project—it became a way to bring beauty, movement, and meaning into a new chapter of life.
the name OneSakura was chosen because sakura means cherry blossom. In Japanese culture, it symbolizes beauty, grace, and the fleeting magic of a single moment. That’s exactly what I want each piece to capture—a soft strength that’s both simple and unforgettable.
Every kimono in our collection is hand-selected with care. Whether you’re relaxing, traveling, or heading somewhere special, OneSakura is designed to move with you—and help you feel at home in your own skin.

Our business having strong ethics behind our brand is vitally important to us. Whether it is ensuring all our products are only ever printed using AZO free dyes, to using recycled packaging wherever possible.The garments we sourced are made in India following the highest standards of ethical, environmental, and health & safety practice. This company is audited regularly and awarded certification SA 8000. This is a social audit that ensures there is no child labour, no bonded labour and employs all its skilled workers on a permanent basis.
